No "contact us for a quote" dead ends. No vague day rates that mean nothing without context. Just honest numbers, clear deliverables, and enough information to know whether I'm the right fit before you pick up the phone.
Most people want to know if you're in their ballpark before they pick up the phone. Fair enough. Here's what things actually cost- and what changes the number. No faff, just the information you need.
PROJECTS START FROM
Most projects land between £400 and £2,500. It depends on how long the shoot is, what you need out of post-production, and how many deliverables you're after. Bigger jobs get their own quote.

Multi camera setup, full of colour grade, audio polish. Six short form clips cut from each session so your podcast does more than sit on Spotify. Record regularly? Ask about repeat session rates.

Half a day, one to three subjects, one finished video. Titles, branded and card the works. Exactly the kind of thing that belongs on your website, in your proposals and on Linkedin-and usually isn't there.

Two shoot days a month. Priority scheduling, guaranteed turn around, here videos, social curs and a long form piece each quarter. The most sensible way to stay consistent without reinventing the heel very time.

Every project starts with a call. What do you actually need? Who's it for? What does good look like? No brief, no shoot. Simple as that.
Colour grading, audio and licensed music come as standard. You won't be invoiced separately for the basics. That would be annoying. I agree.
Every project includes at least one round of revisions. The goal is a final cut you're actually happy with - not just one that's been delivered.
Most projects land with you within 10 working days. Would it faster? Ask when you get in touch and I'll see what I can do.
Depends on the job. Straightforward projects get a flat project price. Bigger, more open-ended shoots are easier to quote on a day rate. Either way, you'll know the approach before anything is agreed

I come to you. Manchester and the North West is my patch Further afield is doable- mileage and any accommodation gets agreed up'rant, not ballad on afterwards.
Most businesses know they need video. The bit that falls apart is doing it consistently. A retainer fixes that. You run your business. I turn up, shoot, edit and deliver - same time every month, no briefing from scratch, no chasing.

One day a month. Enough to stay visible, keep things looking good and stop the content drought. Good starting point if you've not done this before.

Two days a month- the sweet spot. Enough for proper brand content and a steady stream of social video. Most clients end up here. There's a reason for that.

Businesses that post video regularly build trust faster than those who disappear for three months and then do a big push. A retainer keeps you in front of people without the constant effort of managing shoots one at a time.
After the first month, I know your brand, your team and what good looks like for you. The work gets sharper. The back-and-forth gets less. That's worth something.
Retainer clients get a better effective rate than one-off bookings and guaranteed availability. Booking two days a month ad- hoc costs more and leaves you without a slot when you need one
Yes. These packages are a starting point, not a straitjacket. More editing time, fewer shoot days, different deliverable formats-get in touch and fil put something together that actually fits.
After the initial three months, retainers roll monthly with 30 days' notice to pause or cancel. Things come up. I get it. I always try to be flexible
Manchester and the North West is my patch-Salford, Stockport, Bolton, Liverpool and everywhere in between. Further afield is doable, mileage charged at a standard rate.
They don't roll over, but give me enough notice and reschedule within the same month. I'd rather you use the time then lose it.
Drop me a message. Well have a quick call make sure the right package fits, and take it from there. Not ready to commit yet? I can quote a one-off shoot first. no pressure.

Project pricing at Bentley Studios Manchester depends on scope — shoot days required, crew size, locations, post-production complexity and usage rights. A half-day social content shoot starts from £400. A full-day corporate production starts from £900, including editing day. Multi-day commercial productions and campaigns are quoted individually. The most useful starting point is always a brief conversation about what the project needs to achieve.
Every project quote from Bentley Studios Manchester is itemised — shoot day fees, crew costs where applicable, kit, travel outside Greater Manchester, post-production, music licensing where required, and the usage licence for the deliverables. Nothing is bundled in a way that obscures what you're paying for. If a quote looks different from what you expected, ask — there's always a specific reason for every line.
The Essential package includes one round of revisions. The Production package includes two rounds. The Campaign package includes unlimited revisions within the agreed scope. A revision round means a single consolidated set of changes — not multiple back-and-forth passes counted as one. Additional revision rounds outside the package are charged at an agreed hourly rate, confirmed in writing before any extra work begins.
Yes. A deposit is required to confirm the shoot date — typically 50% of the agreed project fee. The balance is due on delivery of final files. For larger productions, staged payment plans across pre-production, shoot day and delivery can be arranged. Payment terms are confirmed in writing as part of the project agreement before any work begins.
A Bentley Studios Manchester video retainer gives you a fixed number of shoot days per month, consistent content output across your agreed deliverables, and a quarterly brief review to ensure the content is responding to what's actually performing. Retainers cover video production, photography and social commerce content — either individually or in combination. Pricing is agreed at the start of the retainer term and fixed for the duration.
The minimum retainer term is three months. This gives enough time to establish a consistent visual language, build a content pipeline and start seeing meaningful performance data. Most retainer clients renew at the end of the initial term — but there is no automatic rollover. Renewal is always a deliberate decision, not a default.
Yes. Retained clients receive a discounted rate compared to equivalent one-off project pricing — the efficiency of a regular working relationship is reflected in the cost. Retainers also include priority scheduling, which means your shoot dates are confirmed first before any project-based availability is allocated. The exact discount depends on the scope and duration of the retainer — confirmed at brief stage.
Additional shoot days or deliverables outside the agreed retainer scope are charged at the retainer day rate — not the standard project rate. This is confirmed in writing before any additional work is undertaken. There is no obligation to take additional days — the retainer is a floor, not a ceiling, and some months will naturally produce more content than others within the agreed scope.
Photography at Bentley Studios Manchester starts from £450 for a half-day session of up to four hours. Full-day sessions start from £900, including the edit day. Combined video and photography from the same shoot day is available at a reduced combined rate — consistently the most cost-effective option for clients who need both.
Every session delivers edited and retouched selects — not a raw dump of every frame taken. A half-day session typically delivers 20–40 selects. A full day delivers significantly more depending on the number of setups and subjects covered. Files are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs with web-optimised versions included. RAW files are available on request.
A standard digital usage licence covering online, social media and internal use is included with all photography packages. Extended usage rights — print advertising, out-of-home, broadcast and third-party licensing — are available and priced depending on scope and duration. Usage rights are confirmed in writing before the shoot and transfer in full on final payment."
Yes — and for most briefs, this is the most commercially sensible approach. A combined photography and video day uses the same lighting setup, the same location and the same director. Stills and video are captured in the same session, delivering a consistent visual language across both formats at a significantly lower combined cost than commissioning separately. Ask about combined shoots when you get in touch.
